Help Us Promote Student Wellness at Sheldon R-VIII!
At Sheldon R-VIII School District, we believe that healthy students are better prepared to learn, grow, and succeed! Our District Wellness Committee plays an important role in promoting healthy eating, physical activity, and overall student well-being.
The committee meets throughout the school year to review and update our Local Wellness Policy, discuss wellness initiatives, evaluate our progress, and explore ways to create a healthier school environment for our students and staff.
We Want Your Input!
We encourage parents, students, staff, and community members to get involved! Whether you have ideas to share, questions about our wellness initiatives, or simply want to help make a positive difference, we welcome your participation.
Our Wellness Committee meets at least four times annually, and anyone interested in participating is encouraged to attend.
