GVVC Conference
History:
The GVVC Conference was established in March 2004 as a merger between the Golden Valley Conference and the Vernon County Conference. Original schools involved in the merger were:
1. Golden Valley Conference: Ballard, Calhoun, Chilhowie, Kingsville, Leeton, Montrose, Strausburg and East Lynne.
2. Vernon County Conference: Bronaugh, Hume, Northeast Vernon County, Sheldon.
In 2006, the following schools petitioned to withdraw from the conference: Calhoun, Chilhowie, Kingsville, Leeton, Strausburg and East Lynne. The remaining schools are Ballard, Bronaugh, Hume, Montrose, Northeast Vernon County and Sheldon.
